Hello: Kari is sadly not doing well. She had her surgery yesterday but has arrested twice since that time. she required prolonged chest compressions last night at 0200 but after an hour and fifteen minutes they got her back. She was placed on ECMO (portable heart bypass) to sustain her pressure and heart rate. She is ill beyond all comprehension- I thought I had seen it all- last night proved me wrong. Jennifer and I are begging for a miracle. doc’s here don’t have an answer for why this is happening- she is receiving the best care possible. She is having a cardiac cath as I write this. I hope the answer is readily available on the study. we prayed for a miracle last night and we seemed to receive this as Kari is still with us. The outreach of prayer and concern has become overwhelming. We are aware of all of you and Kari is the beneficiary. We are praying for another miracle so Kari can begin to recover and eventually come home. Thank you to everyone on Kari’s behalf. God Bless. Jeff and Jennifer.

“Where do I even begin to thank you. I have already had hopes and dreams about one day giving back once this storm passes. You are an inspiration to me and I will be forever grateful.”
